A BRIEF ABOUT UGWUMBA UCHE NWOSU His Excellency, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is the Founder and President of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa; an organization whose mandate is to raise a new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs for Africa. He is a serial entrepreneur with interests in the Real Estate; Hospitality; and Agricultural sectors of the economy. Between 2011 and 2019, he served the Nigerian Government dutifully in various capacities. He was once the Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning and later became the Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government of Nigeria. As a man with a sincere passion for youth and women development, he founded the Ugwumba Leadership Centre in 2018 and since then, over 10,000 young and women entrepreneurs have benefited from the job creation and manpower development programs of the Center. His contributions to humanity and youth development in Africa are being recognized, both home and abroad. He was decorated at the UK House of Parliament with the African Youth Empowerment Award by the African Achievers Awards International. In Canada, he is a member of the Chartered Management Consultants in Vancouver, Canada. In Nigeria, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is the National Patron of several corporate organizations and associations, including the Nigerian Institute of Builders; Junior Chamber International; Association of Nigeria Authors; Nigeria Institute of Town Planners; National Association of Nigerian Students; National Youth Council of Nigeria; National Association of Persons with Disability; etc.
